Are you making it easy for happy customers to share their experience? A simple point-of-sale display with a QR code can remove the guesswork and make leaving a review quick, convenient, and right at their fingertips.

Small details like this can make a big difference in encouraging customer feedback.

Direct mail usually works best when it is treated as part of an ongoing campaign, not a one-time test.

Postalytics makes a good point about multi-touch direct mail: too many marketers send one mailing, judge the results, and move on. But like sales, email, social media, or any other form of marketing, one touch is rarely enough to build familiarity or drive action.

US Postal Service research also shows that marketers use direct mail throughout the customer journey, including loyalty, win-backs, repeat purchases, cross-sells, and upsells. That is where print can really shine, as part of a consistent customer retention strategy rather than a one-off promotion.

Which channel will get your marketing noticed? 🤔

Every day, professionals are drowning in digital noise. In fact, according to Nutshell.com, the average ratio of emails to direct mail received daily is a staggering 36:1.

Think about what that means for your business:

✉️ The Email Inbox: A crowded, overwhelming digital highway where your message is just one click away from being deleted, archived, or lost in the "Promotions" tab.

📬 The Physical Mailbox: A clean, uncluttered space with 36x less competition. It’s tangible, it gets held in human hands, and it demands attention.

Digital marketing absolutely has its place, but if you want to break through the screen fatigue and make a lasting impression, it’s time to reconsider the power of print.

Stop fighting for space in a 36-to-1 crowd. Let's get your brand noticed where it actually stands out.

When they’re useful, thoughtful, and well-made, promotional products don’t feel like advertising. They feel like something worth holding onto.

Most marketing messages have a very short lifespan. A social media post gets scrolled past. An email gets archived. An online ad disappears the moment someone clicks away.

But promotional products are different because they become part of a person’s routine, whether that's a favorite water bottle on a desk, a notebook used in meetings, a tote bag that gets carried everywhere, or a comfortable hat that ends up in regular rotation.

The best branded merchandise isn’t about putting your logo on the cheapest item available. It’s about choosing products people genuinely want to keep and use. Every time they do, your brand earns another impression without spending another advertising dollar.

Whether you’re building employee welcome kits, preparing for a trade show, thanking customers, or increasing awareness for your organization, the right promotional products can keep your brand visible long after the initial interaction.

Printing uses real materials, so it should come with real responsibility. 🌱

That can mean recycling excess paper, properly handling used ink and toner cartridges, and helping customers understand that many printed pieces can be recycled when they are no longer needed. ♻️

It also means planning projects thoughtfully. Choosing the right quantity, the right materials, and the right format can help reduce waste before a job ever goes into production.

Print is still one of the most effective ways to communicate, promote, inform, and connect with people. When it is produced responsibly, it can do its job while still respecting the world around us. 🌎

Digital ads disappear... FAST! A thumb-swipe, a skipped video, a crowded inbox, and your message is gone before it really has a chance to land.

That’s part of the challenge with digital marketing. People are tired, distracted, and constantly moving from one screen to the next. Even when your ad reaches the right person, it still has to fight for attention in a very crowded space.

Direct mail works differently.

Research from JICMAIL and Marketreach found that the average piece of direct mail generates about 132 seconds of attention. That doesn’t mean someone stares at a postcard for two uninterrupted minutes, but it does show the value of putting something physical into your customer’s hands.

A well-designed mailer can sit on the kitchen counter. It can get pinned to the fridge. It can be picked up more than once, shared with someone else in the household, and remembered long after a digital ad disappears.

That’s the advantage of print. It gives your message a little more staying power.

If you want to cut through the digital noise, direct mail is still one of the most effective ways to reach people where they live.

At Burlington Press, we handle the design, printing, targeting, and mailing, so your campaign gets delivered the right way.

57% of email addresses are abandoned for one simple reason: Digital fatigue. 📉

Inboxes are crowded, attention spans are short, and the "Delete" button is way too easy to click.

If you want your message to cut through the digital noise and actually land in front of your customers, you have to change the medium.

Want to guarantee eyes on your next campaign? Choose print. ✨

Most digital ads never really get a chance. We scroll past them. Skip them. Tune them out. Sometimes we do not even realize we saw them in the first place.

Print creates a different kind of interaction. A mail piece gets picked up. A brochure gets flipped through. A postcard sits on a counter. A well-designed piece has a physical presence that a banner ad simply does not.

In a world where so much marketing disappears in a split second, print offers something digital often cannot:

✅ A little more time.
✅ A little more attention.
✅ A better chance to be remembered.

When digital spaces are crowded, print gives your message room to breathe.
