NEW YEAR, NEW OWNERS!
Thank you for choosing Office Squared! As of January 1st 2018 O2 has new ownership! We wanted to shoot out an email introducing ourselves and giving you our contact information! We are hoping to make some positive changes to Office Squared! We would love to hear any of your suggestions or ideas, feel free to email us any time! This is your office space and we want to do what we can to improve your workplace environment. Some ideas that we have include organizing printer station, painting walls (new year, new paint color!) and freshening up some artwork. We will also be sending out some information on new policies that will be put in to place shortly.
A little bit about ourselves
My name is Paige Farrington, as most of you know, my brother, Jack, previously owned and ran Office Squared with his partner Frankie. As he is on to his full time venture at one of our family's companies, Farrington Construction, myself and my business partner, Carly LaChant have taken over!
I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2015 with a degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences. While I was at UVM I worked at Citizen Cider, where I met Carly. Immediately we became friends with plenty of ideas and goals that we wanted to accomplish both individually and together. I continued to work there until the beginning of October 2017 when I then decided to follow in my brother's footsteps and join the family business. Currently I am a property manager for BTV Spaces, run by my father, Dave Farrington and his wife, Jen (who started Office Squared in 2009). My office is in the 110 building, right next door, so I am readily available and will pop in often. Working for a family started and owned business has been both a challenge but huge reward, which I look forward to continuing in now being an owner of Office Squared! I look forward to meeting all of you!
My Name is Carly LaChant, after graduating from the New England School of Photography in Boston, MA I decided to drive across the country in search of what I wanted to do. After nearly a month on the road I decided to settle in NYC. As a Vermont native, 2 years of city living was enough, I realized I missed Vermont. The mountains were calling me. I was lucky enough to find work with Citizen Cider, where I met Paige and so many other important people in my life. I now work as Marketing Coordinator for Citizen Cider, where I get to use both my photography and social media skills on a daily basis. I have always been a creative thinker and am so happy and excited to start this adventure with Paige. It feels good to have something to call our own and I look forward to working with all of you!
Together, we look forward to working with you guys, hearing your ideas and creating a truly positive co-working space!
Happy New Year and Happy New Owners!
Thanks again,
Paige & Carly
