After the most challenging 15 months in our company’s history, I’m pleased to share an important update.

Air Purchases has been acquired by Wells Plumbing & Heating Supply, a family-owned distributor based in Chicago, with a long-term commitment to growth in the HVAC market.

Following the loss of our CEO, Rob Engel, our team operated through a long period of uncertainty. What never changed was the work. They showed up every day, kept commitments, and took care of customers and vendors alike. That same team remains in place and will be the team that builds what’s next.

This transaction doesn’t change who we are. It strengthens our ability to invest in the future, rebuild our sales engine, and return to the kind of sales, marketing, and dealer development focus that once defined Air Purchases.

Going forward, my focus will be on sales, marketing, and dealer development—supporting our customers, representing our vendors well, and growing responsibly.
