We also serve, support and maintain important relationships with the Electrical Contractor, Electrical Engineer, Architect and Lighting Design communities. We represent commodity products, typical electrical supply products, lighting controls as well as light fixtures and lamps. Yusen Associates was founded in 1927 by Robert Yusen. In 1975 Walter Yusen became our President and the firm was purchased in 1999 by Barry Enegess and David Michael. Yusen Associates then purchased Vanguard Lighting in July 2007 and Barry Wolff joined the company in 2010. Today, Yusen’s diversified product offering covers territory in six New England States and has 80 employees in a unique three division structure. The Yusen MacPherson Group and Illuminate were proud to sponsor Friendship Home’s Annual Golf Classic, alongside many other generous distributors, electrical contractors, and industry partners.

Friendship Home’s mission is simple but powerful: enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Their programs provide meaningful support through overnight respite services, Bridges to Work, social recreation, leadership opportunities, and more.

This year’s tournament raised over $190,000 to help support these important programs and the individuals and families who rely on them.

We’re grateful to be part of such a great event and community — and of course, we had a pretty great day on the course too!

Earlier this month, the Yusen MacPherson Group and Southwire were proud to sponsor a foursome at the 8th annual MissionSAFE Brighter Futures Open. Hosted by State Electric, all proceeds from the event supported MissionSAFE’s Youth Development Programs for Boston’s at-risk youth.

Our foursome included Justin MacDonald, Joe Gately, Tom Crowley, and Dan Greenwood. We’re proud to support a cause that invests in the future and strength of our surrounding communities.

This year marked our third annual Contractor Invitational, and there were so many great moments throughout the day.

We are so thankful to all of the manufacturer partners and contractors who joined us and helped make the event a success. We also appreciate everyone who supported our chosen charity, Company 2 Heroes.
