Tabbetha's Background:
Tabbetha has been practicing Natural Horsemanship for 12 years. She first became involved with horses at age 10 though local riding lessons. Grandpa Lueth 2 years later bought

her 1st horse. Tabbetha credits her start into natural horsemanship to her 1st horse, Blaze. A green 3 year old was a lot for a 12 yr. old and beginner horse owner. Tabbetha restarted Blaze through Parelli at age 13 after a year off riding. Things were very different! Tabbetha had become the leader Blaze needed and he, her partner. Since then.. Tabbetha has made it her life goal to create successful partnerships between students and their horses! High School

She looks forward to hearing from you! What students are saying.. Judy Ayres & Libby Bringhurst, In
I have been using Tabbetha Lueth since June 2014 to help me with my 11 yr old quarter horse mare who would not take the bridle, dance around when I used fly spray, wouldn't load in a trailer, and was spooky. . She introduced me to the Parelli natural horse method and I have not looked back. I even joined the Savvy club. None of these behaviors exist today. And best of all if they ever start to show back up I know what to do. Tabbetha makes working with Libby just plain fun. Learn the basics with Tabbetha for amazing results. I highly recommend her. Eve Spencer & Blue Buffalo, In
Tabbetha has been instrumental in the success I have had with my QH gelding, Blue! If you would like to have a willing, trusting partnership with your horse, she can help you achieve that. Blue and I could not be happier to have found her! ..Thx Tab, Eve&Blue

Teach your horse to go sideways!

Why is it important?
🌟Sideways is a major component for leads & lead changes.
🌟 Purposeful for opening gates, cow work, etc..
🌟 Sport specific: english/western dressage, trail classes
🌟 Horse moves w/ better self carriage.

Starting Out:
1. Horse should yield front & back end separately & easily using rhythmic pressure.
2. Teach sideways away using a fence to block forward movement.
3. Combine the front end & back end yields along the fence.
4. Once it’s good on the ground, try the same riding w/ contact moving to a loose rein.

Get creative w/ sideways!
-Ask for sideways from different spots around your horse.
-Go sideways over obstacles or open a gate while riding.
-Test the connection, ask for sideways from different distances.
-Teach your horse to go sideways away & towards you.
-Broaden your lateral movements while riding, haunches in, shoulder in, leg yield, & half pass.

Schedule a private lesson or have me teach your horse first. 🐴

🌻 June Lesson Deals 🌻

I always look forward to summer, especially living in Indiana! I’d like to offer a few deals on lessons to help students & horses get ahead. Whether you have a specific problem, looking for a stronger bond, or just stuck on what’s next for progress.. Summer is when I’m able to be most consistent & progressive w/ my own horses! I can assist students in accomplishing the same too! If your horse needs taught or lacking consistency, ask about foundation training. Foundation training prepares a horse for any sport, the show pen, trails, or pleasure riding. A great foundation on a horse along w/ teaching the human creates forever partnerships!

Does your horse pick you up to mount?

Starting Out:
1. Send/lead horse to be parallel with you & mounting block or fence.
2. Use stick or end of line on opposite side of horse to ask shoulders & haunches to straighten up & move close enough for mounting.
3. Relax, stand still, & rub horse for a bit after they put you in position.
*Have sideways away solid before asking for sideways towards. Asking for sideways towards more than a few steps/not balancing with sideways away can lead to crowding & pushing into space issues.

Advancing:
-Ask your horse to pick you up for mounting from farther away.
-Try asking with no rope, at liberty.
-Do this pattern enough, it becomes automatic. You stand on the mounting block & your horse gets into position.
-See if you can use just hands to send & ask for sideways without a stick or end of line.
*Always be balancing sideways away & towards with your horse. Preferably more sideways away than towards..

Let’s teach your horse to be a partner!
Put the effort in & pick you up for mounting 🐴

Transitioning to bridle-less riding!

⭐️ What to have in place?
-Ride on a loose rein consistently w/o needing to pick up a rein.
-Horse maintains gait, speed w/in the gait, & direction w/ little to no correction from the reins.
-Horse has confidence in you & the leadership being offered.
-Rider can use a neck string or stick to support transitions or turns.

⭐️ Riding Bridle-Less!
-Start w/ a short span of time & build to longer.
-Try at the end of a session.
-Start w/ simple patterns, follow the rail, circle, & figure 8.
-Get it GOOD at the walk & trot before moving to the canter.

💫You can also simulate bridle-less riding w/o ever taking the bridle off! Put an “x” in the reins & place over the saddle horn. They’ll be there if you need them. 💫

Give your horse more responsibility & pick those reins up less, if at all. I can show you how to get there!
