💙 We love highlighting local programs that bring generations together, and this upcoming event at The Robb Center in Andover is a wonderful example of the power of connection. 📚🌱

As part of the Memorial Hall Library's Summer Reading Program, the Children's Room is taking Storytime on the road and bringing it directly to The Robb Center for a special intergenerational experience!

📅 Monday, June 29
🕙 10:00 AM

Older adults and Andover's youngest readers will come together to enjoy:
📖 A garden-themed story
🎶 Songs and shared activities
🌱 A hands-on seed planting project

Programs like this create meaningful opportunities for seniors and children to learn from one another, build relationships, and strengthen community connections. We love seeing organizations like The Robb Center and Memorial Hall Library working together to create these special moments. 💛

At Mystic Valley Seniors Helping Seniors®, we encourage families to focus less on perfect communication and more on meaningful connection. This article from Psyche.co has tips for how to talk to someone who has dementia.
