It’s official. The best place for pizza in Apple Valley is Rocco's! 3rd time Beth and I have ordered from there. First time we’re trying the “House Special Deep Dish”! Looks awesome! ...and it tastes awesomer! (Yes... I make words up when they sound like they should be words anyway.). It’s 0.8 miles away. That’s dangerous! 😂😂😂

Do you live south of the river? Would you like to be part of a "focus group" to discuss Burnsville Center Mall? Touch base with Cara Schulz for Burnsville City Council!

We are getting together a focus group to discuss possible ideas for the Burnsville Mall and surrounding area. As most of you know, malls are changing, they are becoming more than "just" places to shop. The city, area businesses, and the mall are getting ready to submit an application for a private grant to revitalize the area and prepare it for the future. BUT WE NEED YOUR IDEAS! Your ideas will guide what we do!

If you'd like to be part of a focus group on Wednesday evening, let me know.
1. Should last 90 minutes
2. We want a range of ages, cultures, etc in the group. Including children.
3. You do NOT need to be a Burnsville resident. Just someone who lives South of the river and shops.

It's not all about food, water, etc... Have you considered going through your closet and donating clothing you no longer wear or doesn't fit? Maybe kids clothing? Bag/Box them up and drop them off at Teresa's in Prior Lake! Last day to drop off donations is this Saturday!

Reaching out to all my friends, business owners, and connections south of the river! Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce member Teresa's Mexican Restaurant in Prior Lake is filling this container w/ non-perishable items for victims of .

Last day to donate is this Sat., Sept. 16th as it's scheduled to head down to TX on Sunday, Sept. 17th.

Because they are having issues w/ their social media pages, they can't promote it and only an old obsolete page can be tagged.

It's been on site since Friday w/ NO donations. Beth and I are going to make a trip to Costco and grab paper products like Paper Towels, TP, Diapers as well as Water, etc...

If you're in Savage, Shakopee, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Lakeville, and surrounding areas, please consider stopping by and donating a few things! Every little bit will help! I'm considering facilitating a "Mastermind Group" in the South Metro... (NOT a traditional "Networking Group", so no 60 Second Commercials, Speakers, selling yourselves, etc...) This will be a place where business owners and Entrepreneurs can come together and help each other by discussing business goals, industry challenges, customer/client challenges, etc... We'll start w/ 10 participants or less. We'll meet once a week for an hour at a local restaurant or coffee shop. Cost will be $20 per month. Any of my friends/connections think this would benefit YOU?

Scam alert from the Dakota County Sheriff's Office...

Within the past few days, we responded to several calls from citizens advising they received suspicious phone calls. The subject tells the citizen he is Sergeant Pederson with the Dakota County Sheriff's Office. He says that Judge Matt Wayne signed warrants for his arrest unless they pay $1,000+ dollars. The citizen is then instructed to go to a store and purchase a money card. The subject attempted to convince them to stay on the phone during the transaction because the citizen may be pulled over and arrested and they are the only one who could help them.

We do have a Sergeant Pederson, but "Judge" Matt Wayne is actually Detective Sergeant Matt Wayne.

Our Office will never make a call like this. We will never request payment in the form of money cards, gift cards, etc. Please be diligent as scam calls in many forms continue to emerge.
