It's spring time and that means we are getting ready for the busy season to begin. So, if you have someone looking for a part time job, we are hiring for 2 or 3 positions in the dishroom. It's by no means a glamorous job, but it does teach/require good time management and organizational skills to do well and is a good entry level job. In addition to the non glamorous work, we offer employees a meal every shift and have a tight crew of misfits who will only corrupt you just a little bit, but will also defend you in a fist fight if need be. We always have the stereo on, but Bill controls it a lot of the time, so not hating classic rock, 90's alternative, 2000's pop punk, and bluesy rock is a plus for you sanity. I remember the first time I ate there Lanny Pride took me there and gave me an entire history lesson on the way to the Hotel Saxonburg. The funny part is I’m sitting here in the Holly Pointe building that Lanny once owned and then we bought. I learned so much from him and was so glad I was able to call him my friend.

Such a sad day for Saxonburg…. Praying someone comes along to buy it and put an another good quality restaurant in. 🙏🏻

The owners of the Hotel Saxonburg have announced that they are closing. The establishment was built in 1832 and has been in operations for nearly 200 years.
