Living in the Northwoods means sharing your home with every flying insect known to mankind. Cluster flies, horse flies that think you're an all-you-can-eat buffet, gnats, mosquitoes, and those annoying Asian beetles.

So I'm on the other side of the basement when I start hearing this strange noise.
Turns out, one of our guinea hens has spotted Asian beetles on the window and is pecking at the glass, trying to eat them. Then she spots a few on the OTHER side of the screen.

Apparently, she decided the screen was just an unnecessary obstacle between her and an all-you-can-eat bug buffet.

On the bright side, she's earning her keep🤷‍♂️

My first attempt making candied jalapeños with some added Bigfoot Bbq Sauce Mild. I'll give them a couple days in the fridge for all the flavors to mingle together.

When I had my first professional labels made I was so excited about everything and I forgot to put any info on the labels about contact number or anything else.

So I decided to punch a hole in my business cards and take a piece of twine and tie a card to every single jar being sold at retail stores. That was a lot of punching, cutting and tying.

Now all three flavors have all the info you need to contact me and what social media platforms I'm on.

We're putting together a donation basket for a very good cause coming up next Saturday so I thought I'd go old school with the business cards. Do I miss tying card to the jars.....Um no, not one bit😃

Bigfoot BBQ Sauce is heading back to the radio! Next Wednesday, October 14th, at 9:15 AM CDT, I’ll be back on 98Q Country 98.3 FM! A live stream will be available on their website. I’ll have 15 minutes to talk about everything Bigfoot BBQ Sauce. I’ve always had a great time being on the show, and I’m looking forward to doing it again!
