Nothing but peachy smiles in these pics! We wanted to celebrate the festival's success by sharing a few highlights from the last few weeks and show our appreciation to everyone who works so hard to make this happen. Thank you to Lane Southern Orchards, Dickey Farms, Pearson Farm, and all sponsors who made this two-week event possible for our communities.

As the name suggests, Peach County is known for its peaches [and pecans] and there's no better way to celebrate than with a two-day festival of food, music, art, crafts, helicopter rides and good ol' family fun!

It's always fun seeing some of our fellow Georgia Grown members, eating good food and making memories. We're already looking forward to next year's event.

And Happy Birthday to our hometown of Byron, GA as we celebrate 150 years! We love our growing Georgia community.

A special thank you to the Davis family for sharing their BlueRidge helicopter ride videos and pics with us. I'm going on a ride next year! Looks so fun!

One of the many ceremonies we get to host at the Sunbelt Ag Expo each year is the Farmer of the Year Luncheon and the naming of the Overall Southeastern Farmer of the Year. We look forward to the years to come for this award program through the Friends of the Farmer of the Year program.

In 2023, the Sunbelt Ag Expo launched the Friends of the Farmer of the Year (FOFOY) Fund to ensure this award program continues for years to come.

When I stopped to capture the beauty of this fairytale view, I had the pleasure of meeting Will Vinson, a third generation pecan and cattle farmer in Houston County, as he pulled up on his tractor. I love to hear the stories and learn the history behind these local farmsteads. Too often, we take our agricultural community for granted and underestimate the yearround commitment and sacrifice these farmers make. If you’re a farmer, thank you.
