À la poupee and some pigmented gampi toned under gravure. Lovely color palettes and inking. With Laboratorium - Labor für Fotografie and one more day to still play with paper. Working with folks that have done workshops with us in the past just allows for such quick advancement into amazing images being resolved in gravure.

Just a light CMYK print on day 3, Laboratorium - Labor für Fotografie image interpreted in photogravure. We should probably get around to making a profile for this but not bad color mixing. Really great workshop this week.

We got to work with today and it was such a great day. Billie made the trip up to work on a few of her images for a publication project. These prints have so much beautiful movement and focus. This work being printed in gravure is such a pleasure as it exemplifies what this process does so well, displaying all of the detail and tonality while capturing the motion that is so prevalent in Billie’s work. We cannot wait to show more of these prints and announce their launch as one of our first new publications since the print fair! Thanks again for making the trip up Billie.

We got to work on this amazing print with this week. “The Tree Told Me To” is a photogravure print printed on an extra large sheet of hahnemuhle copperplate. This image worked so well with our process and was so beautiful to ink up today. We cannot wait to work with Alexandra on more projects later this year.

A few more stunning Roland Reed reveals. It was so cool to work on these images. Recreating snap shots of time with contemporary means is so much of the foundation of what we want our studio to do. But working with images from 1915 really puts that ethos to the extreme.

A second Roland Reed print from the other day. These images are so fun to work on. Contributing, collaborating and working with these historical photos is phenomenal.
