MOST COMMON QUESTIONS!
🛁 Do you have several people who work for you?
Currently it’s just me working in the home, however once summer aproaches I may be looking to hire 1 additional cleaner who I know personally and can trust in my homes. My clients trust me and I love that!
🪣 Do you have insurance? Long story short I am stuck between 2 jobs for my kids schooling. I do this in between driving a bus for a local school. I started this with family and friends to help them and they have referred me to others they have known. Answer is no I do not, however it is in the future!! It’s a big leap and in order to pay for it I need more clients but since I schedule between my driving shifts I can’t work 8-10 hours a day doing cleanings at the moment. I have big plans coming soon though just working out the kinks!
🧼 Why did it take longer for the first few cleans and now it’s taking less time?
This first few cleans, if the home is being cleaned bi-weekly or weekly is typically a deep clean from cleaning that may have built up over time for instance hard water removal from appliances, microwaves being deep cleaned, baseboards having dust/animal hair etc on them, ceiling fans not being cleaned in a long period of time as well as windows, inside of stove being scrubbed and cleaned, cabinets being wiped down etc. all of this takes extra time and as it get worked through it becomes less maintenance with a weekly or biweekly clean depending on the home usage. This stuff will continue being cleaned but the buildup is less so needs less effort and usually not as often at times.
🐶 Charge for pets? No, nor am I allergic to them. However having pets may increase times cleaning up after them for instance litter box areas, animal hair and areas where they eat/drink.
🧺 Do you do laundry?
Typically no, but I may work something out. I always try helping my clients as it’s priority.
🥣 Do you do dishes?
I will do your dishes just keep as a reminder this does increase time typically 20 mins to a hour depending how much is left in the sink/counter and if there is a dishwasher to use or not.
🧫 Do I have to provide cleaning supplies?
Clean outs or move ins I bring whatever is needed for the job , however typically most of my clients that are weekly/biweekly or monthly provide me with cleaning supplies and have a broom/spin mop/vacuum in their home. If needed or wanted I most definitely will bring my own though.
