2026 Season Price List / Information
A few things I want to hit on:
Due to price increase in materials we’ve had to go up in price this year.
European Mounts - 1 MONTH + is what you’re looking at, this is not a three day or a week process for us. Fast is not always better. Skulls we take in are beetle fed and degreased properly which takes time as each skull is different. If you bring in a rotten head automatic $40.00 up-charge. We will not feed the beetles rotten heads. If you cannot make it the day of harvest, freeze it.
‼️ EXTRA CAPES - WE NEED THEM ‼️
If you harvest a mature buck and are only wanting a European mount done we will give you a 💲50.00 DISCOUNT💲 towards it if YOU are kind enough to take the time needed to cape it out like you would as if you were getting a shoulder mount. 💲25.00 DISCOUNT💲also available towards a euro mount if you bring the deer to us and let us cape it out in exchange for the extra cape. Doing this helps us help other hunters who may not have found their deer in time, predators may have got to it, etc.
I am looking for “pretty” capes is the simplest way to put it. For us to honor the discount the deer must be mature and dropped off the same day it was harvested, must have a nice cape and be caped out correctly, no patches of hair missing/slipping, no excess of scars.
We will be checking capes this year if you take us up on the discount when brought in. Length has been an issue in the past.

Pick Up of Mounts- this year each customer will get notified a week prior of me starting their mount. We have limited space so I will be very FIRM this year on the 20 day period for pick up. This goes for euro and shoulder mounts. I will add storage fees up to 40 days if it exceeds the 20 days you’ve done been given. After 60 days I do have the option to sell your mount, which I do not want to do. This is a small business and it’s my main income, it’s what I rely on to pay bills. When you complete a job you want paid right? So do I.
** If you are an out of state hunter I will work with you on this time frame - just communicate with me at drop off your plans of when you’re coming back and I can hold off and have it ready for you then. **
If I have to ship your mount after completion it must be paid for in FULL at time of drop off. MOUNT COST ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will deal with UPS directly and pay them over the phone for shipping as they have many options as far as packaging.
Cape Out of Head for Out of State Transportation: $85.00. Drop it off already caped for a shoulder mount, come back later and we’ll have it caped off the head and skull capped for you to take home to your local taxidermist. If need be I’d be more than happy to hold it in freezer for you until the day you head home.
Tanning - I do not do my own tanning. No skin is guaranteed from tannery. Proper field care is required as soon as the deer is harvested. Hair slippage can happen very fast. Heat, dragging, bacteria, moisture, taking too long to skin will cause hair slippage.
When Field Dressing/Skinning/Caping- watch how far you cut up into the brisket this is where a lot of people mess up. Make sure armpits are intact and not missing. Please take the time to look up proper caping techniques if need be. If it’s cut incorrectly or too short this can turn out to be a costly mistake. The more cape the better - I’ll never complain about having too much. If you aren’t sure or don’t want to do it yourself we will do it for you for $40.00.
We may not always be available during the day on week days ASAP for caping services, but we will make it happen - it may just be later in the evening before we can get to it.
Rush Fee: Cost of Mount + 300.00
It’s added to the rush list in the order it was received. This does not guarantee a time frame, as soon as I get it back from the tannery you will be priority. Limited spots available.
Time Frames- I don’t give them. Nobody knows what tomorrow brings. This year I will be in the shop a lot more with it being my main job and priority. I do help out at other workplaces when needed - they are very flexible, encourage me, and support me in putting my taxidermy work first.
We only take deer in by appointment only. Our address is not on our page on purpose, our shop is at our home, we live a good ways off the road and we are not always here - this keeps people from showing up unexpectedly.
