🚨 THERE’S A BETTER OPTION THAN ILLEGAL DUMPING 🚨

Illegal dumping continues to be a problem in Trigg County. Recently, a large amount of material was found dumped along a county roadside approximately 25 feet from a clearly posted “NO DUMPING — VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED” sign. The material included mostly clothing and more than 100 vintage records—items that could have been donated instead of being left to be ruined by the weather.

Illegal dumping is against the law. If identifiable materials are found, authorities will be notified. We have worked with both the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department and Cadiz Police Department on previous cases.

Violators may face fines, legal consequences, and possible community service cleanup.

Our recycling center offers a disposal dumpster for a small fee. Please dispose of items responsibly instead of risking criminal penalties.

Help us keep Trigg County clean.
