Mulching jobs are pretty much wrapped up for the time being…. On to the building sites, foundations, clearings, ponds and whatever else the summer may bring.

Nice secluded building site around Bloomer. 900’ driveway with mobile ditches down both sides. Cut a hill down 7 feet to flatten everything out, ended up moving around 7000 yards of material. Added 5.5 feet of fill through a ravine for the driveway and 1-1.5 feet through the remainder. Added a culvert in the ravine. Added gravel through the driveway to the site opening just to keep everything accessible while they build.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything. We’re still lacking in the taking pictures department, but made sure we did this time. Here’s a before and a few after pictures of a newly completed project…. Now there’s an actual parking area off the highway for all the fellow sportsman.

With that being said we’re also going to start giving a $50 kwik Trip gift card away for every referral that leads to a project actually being done. We’ve had a few customers ask about this, so we’re going to try it. Those customers got there’s. It doesn’t matter if you spoke to them and recommended us or if you just seen a shared Facebook post. If the customer says I seen so and so shared a post or so and so recommended you they will be given a $50 Kwik Trip gift card.

Now that is out of the way, depending on how this fall goes and when winter hits we may or may not have time for an additional couple of small projects. We have people on the “it may happen this fall or next spring list”.

We sincerely appreciate the loyal customers as always and thank you guys for keeping us busy.

Kind of neat. Google maps was updating satellite images and got a picture of us on one of our building sites this summer.

A customer sent us some pictures of a project completed early last year. Pond was dug to 17 feet deep. I would guess it to still be around 15 feet after silt in. We used a sump filled with rock under the center of the pond to pump back around the liner to fill it and keep the water level low under the liner so it wouldn’t float until we got to the top 5 feet. We abandoned that sump and finished filling with another sump / solar powered well. We’re looking forward to working with all of you again this year.

Everyone around Apex Excavating is wishing you guys and gals the Happiest Holidays! We just finished up our last building pad for the year, work is winding down. Just a little more clearing to do. Instead of posting pictures of the latest work, I figured I would post a picture of the ones that matter most to me.
