Since 1981, Bitner Vineyards has been rooted in farming, family, community, and respect for the land.
We started as grape growers, helped establish the Snake River AVA, and opened our small tasting room in 2003. Today, we continue to farm 15 acres and produce about 1,500 cases a year. We were proud to be Idaho’s first winery to receive sustainable vineyard certification.
For us, wine is about more than what’s in the bottle. It’s about protecting and respecting our farmland, pollinators, bees, wildlife, our neighbors, ranchers, and the hardworking farmers and tractor drivers who keep Idaho agriculture moving.
Canyon County and the Idaho seed industry are an essential part of our state’s economy, generating approximately $1.5 billion in economic value.
We believe in growing thoughtfully—not simply growing bigger. Integrity means doing what is right for the land, animals, pollinators, our neighbors, and our community. Stewardship, sustainability, community, and respect will always matter more to us than scale or ego.
We are incredibly grateful for our members and loyal customers who have supported and valued Bitner Vineyards for decades—and continue to support us every day. You make it possible for us to keep farming, caring for this land, and doing things the right, ethical way.
All Idaho Agricultural, Animals, and Pollinators are worth protecting. 🌱🐝🌽🌾
