This picture has been SIX years in the making! We switched the first home to fiber in Wynona this week! 🥳🥳 Our technician, Dylan, was not letting a little rain and mud stop this fiber connection! Since purchasing the Shidler Telephone company in 2017, converting the communities of Shidler, Wynona, Grainola, Webb City, and Foraker to fiber was top priority. Through many delays and battles, we are finally here! Construction and installs for the remaining Shidler areas are underway!

BIG NEWS, NEWKIRK! 🎉

It's officially official! Kanokla Fiber is coming to Newkirk! As many of you know, we’ve proudly served the community for years with wireless internet, and now we’re preparing for a new chapter with FIBER.

Starting this week, you will see our engineering crews around town staking routes and marking right-of-ways as we prepare for construction. This is one of the first major steps in bringing fiber to the community.

What does that mean?
✔️ You may notice flags, paint markings, or crews working in utility easements and right of ways
✔️ This does NOT mean construction is starting immediately
✔️ We are actively planning and preparing the project so we’re ready to move forward as materials and timelines are finalized

While we don’t have a construction start date quite yet due to ongoing supply and material demands, we want the community to know: Fiber IS coming.
