The truth about business nobody wants to admit: comparing killed more dreams than anything else.

And honestly: this platform isn’t helping but don’t for a second forget that it’s a highlight reel.

Nobody has a perfect life. Not even Disney Princesses. The whole point is that we have challenges and we overcome them: we are all main characters of our lives.

So honestly? The sooner we stop comparing the better.

Have dreams. Set yourself goals.

It’s all a big game that’s over in a second anyway.

It’s not often I am stunned for silence but I was that time.

Was it shock because I have stopped weighing myself?
Shame for being shown in black and white that I was in fact lighter 11 years ago after birthing a baby?
Or that I was all of a sudden reminder that I need to be thin and forever young in order to matter?

Maybe all of those three 🤦‍♀️

Because honestly how are we meant to convey the depth of human experience when life is literally lifey?

Especially if it’s a 10-min appointment or this little corner of the internet.

When all of a sudden you have to hold more 🤌
Look after more human(s) 🤌
And sometime well you slip down the priority?

And lately I’ve been thinking actually the fact we hold more is our superpower 🦸🏻‍♀️🤌👯‍♀️

It makes us understand more and overcome the challenges.

It makes us relate more to our clients.

Because all of mine hold a LOT and they understand intimately that ads are the ultimate leverage that doesn’t need more of them.

In fact: the opposite.

You know that saying: find your vibe find your tribe?

Ibiza was a 3 beautiful days of connection and depth and shifting priorities.

Because in truth when you don’t have a tribe of entrepreneurial badass besties around you then have to seek them out to remind you who TF you are.

And all of a sudden it all makes sense: I mean of course when you see someone else doing what you want it becomes normal! And so is doing high numbers, so is employing staff and collaborating and above all: getting clear on what success is for you. 🤌

So often the hardest part is simply saying “yes” to yourself. Because its so easy to say “no”. I had all the stuff going on. My kid is still poorly, lots of navigating to even make the 5am flight. But this is the thing: what are you saying “no” to? There is always the other side of the coin.

The card I pulled on the last day was the Wheel of Fortune which symbolises a turning point and going with the flow of the universe.

Couldn’t be more appropriate tbh.

Whenever I stood on the edge of a cliff after making a big decision it’s always been this question that came to me.

A few short years ago, when I connected to the vision of supporting my daughter and the stark reality of the
situation was that my bank balance was showing me 2 weeks worth of living expenses and no new prospects in sight.
