Tip # 7
Sometimes when you are composting with or without worms. You may run into a varmit problem. Most commonly you will run into mice. Especially if you are feeding you worms or compost alot of fruit scraps. So here is the coolest way I have seen so far to mitigate this problem.

So I am going to be starting a couple of indoor worm bins that most beginners would start with.
So we can do it together if you are interested in starting your own worm farm.
If you want to start one with me like and comment below and we will get started in the next week or two.
Unfortunately I will not be able to supply anybody with worms, so start looking for your supplier now. Once you order your worms comment and we will get started.

I want to give you all weekly updates, so you all have to help keep me honest, on my toes, comments will keep me posting regularly.

This is what I will do.
I am going to order from 2 suppliers and start 2 bin side by side. We are going to start with 2 sets of Sterilite 10 Gal./38 L Stacker Tote, Black.
We will do a 6 month weekly DIY worm farm, from set up to harvest.
I will shoot videos of each step of the process so we can do it together but I will need participation to get them edited and posted quickly. When I see others getting engaged it gets me excited and energizes me to do more.

Sorry to everyone for not having posted in a very long time. Thanks for hanging in there with us. I have been working full time outside of the farm. So I just wanted to share the newest addition to the amazing worm farm.
Just for fun, because we love babies, chickens and eggs. We bought some baby chicks in the spring and the hen was one of those babies. She is a leg horn and the roosters we're asian somethings. I can't remember exactly what they were if you know comment thanks.
So two of the babies were hatched within the last 24hrs. She is still sitting on about 10 eggs.

As soon as you dump them out pull out your phone and take a few pictures. Your worms may be a little dehydrated upon arrival, so have a spray bottle with clean water to rehydrate if necessary. Hopefully your worms have arrived in good health and you will see them wiggling around the way wigglers do....
