After 17 years as a wedding and family portrait photographer — 13 of those years running my own photography business — it is with mixed emotions that I announce that Jill Christine Design & Photography is closing its doors.
As my own children are getting older, it has become difficult to work on the weekends. I don’t want to miss the dance competitions, soccer games, or just time to relax with my crew. This decision is bittersweet, but these four smiling faces are the driving force behind it and I know it’s the right one for our family.
From photographing hundreds of weddings in Hawaii, Mexico, and so many places in between, it has been quite the adventure. I truly have had the most wonderful clients who trusted me to document the really big and the every day moments in their lives. A photo session was never just a job. It was a chance to catch up with clients who had become friends.
So thank you to everyone who encouraged me and supported me throughout this journey. You are the reason it is so hard to close my doors. To all of my clients, please stay in touch, and keep smiling!
