Because you guys see us printing labels all day, a ton of you have been asking what magical printer we use—especially for those tricky Vinted shipping labels!

Here is the exact setup we use behind the counter:

We use a wireless Bluetooth thermal printer paired with an app called Labelnize. The app is an absolute lifesaver because it automatically crops the labels perfectly to 4x6 for you. No more fighting with desktop settings or margins. Because it’s all Bluetooth, you can do the entire process straight from your phone in seconds.

Of course, if you don't want to mess with buying your own equipment, you can always just keep dropping by and we’ll print your labels for you right at the register! 📦📱

Big News for Vinted Drop-Offs! 📦🎉 Vinted is launching a brand new release, and it starts rolling out tomorrow, October 6! If you have a speedx label, you no longer need to print it at home. Here is how the new process works:

Make sure SpeedX is turned on in your settings!

Just show us the SpeedX code on your phone.

We will scan it and print the shipping label for you right here in the shop, completely for FREE!

We will even stick the printed label onto your package.

Note: This digital option will initially be available to a limited group of customers, but it will continue to roll out to more people over time, so keep checking! Prefer the old way? Printed labels are still valid, so you can continue to print your label at home and bring it attached to your parcel.

Important Update on USPS Drop-Offs at Local Postal 📦

We know many of you prefer skipping the Post Office line and bringing your packages to us—and we love seeing you! Because of the massive volume of drop-offs we receive daily, the USPS carrier is no longer scanning individual packages when they pick up from our store.

Here is exactly what this means for your shipments:

Tracking Updates Will Be Delayed: USPS packages dropped off at our counter will still be picked up safely every day, but your tracking number will not update to show "Accepted" until the package reaches the main postal sorting facility.

Advice for Late Shippers: If you are an online seller racing against a strict shipping deadline and you need your tracking to show an immediate acceptance scan today, it is highly recommended that you take those specific packages directly to the main Post Office.

We are still fully open for your drop-offs. If you do not mind a slight delay in the online tracking updates, you are always welcome to keep dropping your USPS packages right here at the counter. We are happy to handle them.

Note on other carriers: This change only affects USPS. When you drop off FedEx, UPS, and SpeedX packages at Local Postal, they are still scanned directly at our counter, and your tracking will update immediately.

Thank you for keeping your business local and continuing to trust Local Postal!
