From wet mud and trees to a nice dry open space with a nice line of boulders along this driveway.

The Volvo's first seasonal task entailed clearing 12 substantial trees with diameters spanning 12 to 18 inches at the base and hundreds of smaller ones, all accomplished with the excavator alone. Pushing over these trees and extracting them as a whole was found to conserve a considerable amount of time and yielded impressive brush piles - two in total. Progress was paused due to weather; however, the customer will soon enjoy an enhanced view from their driveway and appreciate the new demarcation provided by a row of boulders between the mowed and brush hogged areas, alongside a great sledding hill.

Cleaning up the lakeside sugarwoods ... what a mess.

Started cleaning all the fallen trees from the sugarwoods at our neighbors at the Lake.
3 days in and we pulled about 100-120 trees. Woods are looking better already and walking the lines will be SO much better now.

Today we worked alongside the homeowners of this beautiful new home. They prooved to be up to the task and made getting the basemnt wall insulation completed in one day possible. I just love when the customer wants to be part of the work, seeing the excitement in their eyes and voices. Ashley and Scott I couldn't be happier to help make your dream come true. Let's hope the weather cooperates for just another few weeks so we can get those floors poured and turn the carpenters loose to build this splendid new home for your family. Not sure why I can't tag Ashley ... FB business profile restrictions I guess??

Good progress on house #1 yesterday in the snow, perimeter and drain pipes installed, filter fabric installed, Insulation board up on walls and foundation backfilled 5' with sand. Today House #2 had its perimeter drain and garage floor drains plumbed and covered in stone. Next step is wall/footing waterproofing spray on Tuesday/Wednesday. Finally feeling like we are approaching a good spot to call it a season.

Second foundation in 2 weeks got its footings poured today. The weather and mud sure have made this a challenge and a test of patients but we have persevered and finally seeing the finish line. Footing forms get removed tomorrow and wall panels start going up. Monday the walls will get poured.
Can we have a few days without rain please?

Finished digging the second cellar hole and today the stone went down and the footing forms were started.
