Congratulations to Evergreen Ambulance of Portland, Oregon on the launch of their new BLS interfacility agency serving the greater Portland metropolitan area.

It has been a privilege for Cambridge Consulting Group (CCG) to partner with this team from the ground up. This week, CCG advisors Jeff Behm and Brian LaCroix had the opportunity to participate in orientation for the EMTs who are preparing to begin service to the community.

Evergreen Ambulance is helping to fill a critical gap in medical transportation across the region. We wish them great success as they begin this important work!

Cambridge Consulting Group just wrapped up an incredible week across northern Michigan, partnering with seven rural EMS agencies to learn, share, and grow together.

Brian LaCroix, Dr. Jon Krohmer, John Todaro, and AJ Heightman logged 500+ miles crisscrossing the Great Lakes State, visiting ambulance bases, connecting with crews, and finishing strong with a full-day cohort workshop.

Grateful to be part of this important work with the Michigan Center for Rural Health!

Cambridge Consulting just wrapped up our Cognitive Wellness training at the annual meeting of Navajo Public Safety. It was an honor to spend time teaching and learning alongside nearly 100 professionals from Navajo Police, Fire, EMS, Corrections, and Emergency Management.
We truly appreciated the opportunity to spend time amongst the four sacred Navajo mountains.

This week, Cambridge Consulting Group completed our 15th engagement with Navajo Nation EMS. For more than three years, it has been an honor to walk alongside the front-line leaders of North America’s largest Indigenous EMS agency, supporting their continued growth and excellence.

Cambridge Consulting Group is excited to support the launch of Evergreen Ambulance, a new interfacility transport provider serving the Portland, Oregon region. This start-up operation is scheduled to begin service in early 2026 and is well positioned to fill a significant gap in interfacility transport across the Portland metropolitan area.

Congratulations to CCG Advidor Dr. John Krohmer!

The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (National Registry), in partnership with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), is honored to present the 2025 Rocco V. Morando Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Jon Krohmer, MD, recognizing his exceptional contributions to the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Dr. Krohmer, a board-certified emergency and EMS physician, retired in 2022 after a distinguished 45-year career in EMS and public policy. His tenure included serving as the director of the Office of Emergency Medical Services at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), local EMS medical director in Michigan and Maryland, president of the National Association of EMS Physicians, and a senior leader with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
