Acentech provided acoustics consulting for this award-winning, LEED Platinum project designed by Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners. We addressed speech clarity, sound isolation, and mechanical noise in classrooms, a 350-seat auditorium, cafe, recording studio, and more. We were thrilled to attend last night's 'Maverick Kings: Three Visionary Pharaohs of Egypt's Golden Age' exhibition celebration at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston! We are especially proud that our pro bono work in audiovisual design and acoustics helps exhibits like these come to life.

Also, it was nice to discover that large events in the Shapiro Courtyard still sound great! We sat at a table for six and could understand each other perfectly despite all the activity around us. It was a truly magical evening. Thank you, and big kudos to the MFA and exhibition sponsors!

We're glad you asked! And yes, they can. Quantum research depends on exceptionally stable environments. At the David E. and Stacey L. Goel Quantum Science & Engineering building at Harvard University, Acentech's experts collaborated with PAYETTE on the design of optics and electronics labs, seminar spaces, offices, and shared collaboration areas.

Back-to-school season is almost here—and at Stoneham High School, there’s still plenty to be excited about!

One year after opening, this beautiful 207,000-square-foot school designed by Perkins&Will continues to provide students with inspiring spaces to learn, create, perform, and connect. Acentech provided acoustics consulting services with a strong focus on the design of the school’s performing arts spaces. Our team helped develop room shaping strategies and provided preliminary acoustic design concepts to support speech clarity and performance versatility. Acentech's Fun Committee designed a 9-hole mini-golf course celebrating the 2026 World Cup! After a pizza lunch, the Cambridge staff tested their skills and cheered each other on. (The ghosts of our founders tried to scoop the trophy, but we caught that in time.) The true winner was Ethan Brush! ♥
