Looks fine from the street… until you get up close.
We inspected this 4-year-old roof yesterday after the homeowner noticed damage to their siding and gutters.
From the ground? You’d never know.
Up close:
• Holes in roof vents → direct path for water intrusion
• Impact dents in shingles → some nearly punched through
• Significant granule loss → shortened roof lifespan, exposed mat
And here’s the hard truth:
If your siding or gutters took a hit, your roof did too, whether you can see it or not.
Why this matters:
Hail damage isn’t always dramatic but it is progressive. Left unchecked, it turns into leaks, rot, and much bigger problems down the line.
With storm chasers flooding the area, here’s how to protect yourself:
✔️ Choose a local company with a real presence (not just a pop-up after storms)
✔️ Ask for proof of insurance + licensing
✔️ Look for recent local jobs and references
✔️ Avoid high-pressure “sign today” tactics
✔️ Make sure they’ll be here after the storm… not just during it
✔️Always get more than one estimate
We live here. We work here. We’ll be here.
If you were hit by hail, even if your roof “looks fine”, let’s take a look and give you honest answers.
