On the occasion of my
80th birthday!
Friends and Allies:
I am reaching out to friends and colleagues who may have access to ‘angel donors’.
Please know that I hold a great deal of experience (80 years of lived experience and 55+ years of professional experience) and knowledge in the world of adoption, foster care, kinship, donor, surrogacy and complex families.
I wish to work for as long as I can,
to transfer this knowledge through consultation, coaching, teaching, supervision, podcasts, conference keynotes, and writing.
To do this, requires funding.
Please help me to find donors
who care about restructuring
adoption, and the lives of those
who live in the world of adoption.
Donations will be tax deductible, and the return is wellness for many, but especially for the Children- who experience the trauma and loss that is an integral part of even the best of complex blended families.
If I could pay myself, it would make my final productive years meaningful for many, as I transfer my knowledge to the next generation and help to shape the changes needed in our field.
I have developed models for teaching and treatment that have been widely used and should be spread even further (I only wish to be cited, which those closest to me have often not done, alas).
I am 80 yrs old, and I have worked nonstop to exist and to excel.
I have worked through pandemics, severe illness, chemo and infusions, betrayal, opposition, and physically infirmity.
I cannot live on Social Security alone!
I refuse to stop until I am finished.
