**Estimator – Site Construction**
*Specializing in Commercial, Industrial, and Warehousing Projects*
A reputable and well-established Site Construction, Utility Construction, and Civil Construction Contractor is actively seeking to hire an Estimator for a full-time, permanent position.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: **
- Ensuring that bids, estimates, and budgets are completed on time.
- Performing quantity take-offs and providing turnkey estimates for heavy construction projects, including Heavy/Highway, Utilities, Bridges, Commercial Site Work, and Heavy Civil projects.
- Delivering job cost estimates for processing, including documentation acquisition, subcontract and purchase order setup, project scheduling, change order pricing and negotiation, contract administration, job cost review, billings, collections, project meetings, and project closeout.
- Applying knowledge of utility and site work construction practices, techniques, and principles.
- Utilizing estimating techniques for cost control and material pricing.
- Familiarity with industry estimating software is a plus (such as HCSS HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Agtek, Constructware, Earthworks, Procore, Spectrum, ProEstimate Heavy, AccuBuild, etc.).
**Qualifications:**
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience as an estimator in heavy highway, heavy civil, highway contracting, bridge construction, paving, utility, or site work contracting.
- Proven experience in developing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret civil plan sheets.
- A BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- Must possess strong communication skills—written, electronic, and verbal.
