Our hearts are so incredibly full. 🥹📚
Thank you to every vendor who helped make today so special, to our family and friends who supported us through every late night, renovation, big idea and moment of doubt—and to every single person who walked through our doors today.
Some of you drove hours just to celebrate with us. Indie authors, self-published children’s authors, social media influencers, fellow small-business owners, loyal customers and brand-new faces all showed up for Two Broke Besties—and we will never be able to fully express what that meant to us.
We watched friends settle into the gardens to read together. We saw children racing home, eager to open their new books, and excitedly sharing with us what they would be reading next. Those little moments were everything we dreamed this place could be—a space where stories are discovered, friendships grow and the love of reading feels contagious.
Whether you made a purchase, stopped by to celebrate, shared our posts or simply offered a kind word, please know how deeply grateful we are. Seeing the store and gardens filled with familiar faces, new friends and so much excitement was a moment we will never forget.
This dream was built on friendship, faith and community—and today, you reminded us exactly why we took the leap.
