Friday, 5/15, we’re expecting 1400-1600 (includes 500 cows)

As of this evening, we have approximately:
• 125 pairs
• 150 palpates
• A good many roping calves
• 10-15 fresh roping steers

There’s a lot of QUALITY in the barn this week!!

Coming this Friday, 5/15 to MCLA — 18 pairs and 9 short-bred cows! These 2-3 year old cows are out of Beefmaster and F-1 Tiger Stripe cows and sired by Red Angus bulls. Some of the pairs will even be 3-in-1 packages. Super Fancy set of females and definitely worth a look.

We’re thankful for the much-needed rain we received on Mother’s Day and hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend!

20 first-calf Brangus & Angus Plus pairs with Angus calves at side, along with 20 FANCY 2-4 year old Tiger Stripe pairs with Hereford calves at side. (video attached and in comments)

We are extremely proud of our MCLA crew for bringing home Champion Team honors at the Rough Out Battle of the Barns Ranch Rodeo Ranch Rodeo this past Sunday!

This group represents Milam County Livestock Auction well both in and out of the arena, and we’re thankful to have such a hardworking team here at MCLA.
