Sunday marks 36 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law: July 26, 1990.
For Missouri's Extended Employment Sheltered Workshops, the ADA isn't just a legal milestone. It's the foundation of everything we do. Every job filled, every skill built, every employee who shows up and contributes to their community... that's the ADA at work.
Thank you to the advocates who fought for it, the managers and staff who live it every day, and the employees at all of our member shops who remind us why it matters.
