Absolutely Astonishing!!!

We were asked to share photos showing how our work connects to the existing underdrain. These images also provide an opportunity to explain what helps a drainage system perform over time.

This neighborhood is less than five years old, and I was involved in its initial site development for a previous employer. At this connection, we found black corrugated pipe surrounded by stone containing sediment and fines.

Drainage stone needs open spaces between the stones so water can move freely toward the pipe. Fine particles can fill those spaces, reducing water flow and contributing to sediment buildup. Pipe selection also affects durability and how easily a system can be inspected and maintained.

Long-term drainage performance depends on the entire installation: suitable pipe, clean drainage stone, proper filtration, consistent slope, and a functioning outlet.

At Munro Excavation, Kenai and I focus on these details to give our customers dependable drainage built with longevity in mind. Much of that work ends up underground, so we believe it’s valuable to show what goes into it and explain why it matters.

The Mixing Bowl in Camillus calls itself a bakery that does sandwiches. Its most popular lunch, the MJ, layers grilled chicken, bacon, mozzarella, green apple and fig jam on fresh ciabatta.

Not sure when we found the time to fit this back yard re-fresh in, a good friend bought this house. And has made some awesome progress inside and out!

Last year we were here knocking down 100’ white pines! This year we got him access up the hill to more land than he thought he had!
