This time around, the yellow jackets were a little more active… and we hadn’t already started treatment.

So yes, a little more protective gear was necessary since there were literally THOUSANDS!

Safety first when you’re dealing with a crew that is VERY aware you’re there. 😂

But our favorite part? Watch the cameraman… did you notice him slowly start backing away? 🤣🤣 Apparently filming the action is fun until the action starts flying toward you.

Not every bug we talk about is a bad one!

Ladybugs are actually pretty incredible little insects. They’re natural predators that feed on aphids and other small pests that can damage plants, flowers, and gardens.

A single ladybug can eat thousands of aphids during its lifetime—which makes them one of nature’s tiniest pest control professionals.

So if you spot a ladybug hanging out in your garden, this is one bug you can be happy to see doing its thing.

Even we can appreciate a little free pest control. 😂

Our content is meant to educate, entertain, and give you a peek behind the scenes of pest control.

Bugs WILL be harmed. Not every part of the process makes it on camera. And please don’t try what you see us doing at home.

We promise—we ARE professionals and we really do know what we’re doing. 😂 Even if some of our videos occasionally make you question that.

We’re talking about the woolly bear caterpillar! Folklore says the thicker and fuzzier its coat — and the more black you see — the harsher the winter ahead.

Is it actually a tiny, fuzzy weather forecaster? Not exactly. 😂 Its coloring and fuzz have more to do with its age, growth, and environment than what Mother Nature has planned for winter.

But spotting woolly bears crawling around this time of year is definitely a sign that the seasons are starting to change!

And while we can’t predict the winter from a caterpillar… West Wind Pest Control CAN help make sure the other creepy crawlies don’t decide your warm house is their winter vacation home. 😉

This week, Jarrett had the opportunity to present to the chapter and share a little more about the business. Of course, he had to kick things off with his classic line:

Let’s continue with the crap that’s NOT fun… aka spiders. 🕷️😅

This lovely little setup was hanging out right above a door. A quick before & after cleanup, and we can all sleep a little better tonight.

But the real question is… do you think the company could see these guys crawling around on the video feed? 👀😂

Because imagine checking the security cameras and getting THIS close-up.

Just another day of cleaning up the stuff nobody wants to deal with!
