Day 14 in France. Moved on to the fabulous Chateau La Tour Apollinaire in the south of France. These are my clients that I'm helping with the gardens. They remembered last year my affinity for local cheese and wine and this was what I was greeted with upon arrival.

They are located in the city of Perpignan and it is a charming area. The old downtown is an easy walk and mostly closed to traffic. Shops, restaurants and quite often live music. They have renovated the Chateau to holiday apartment rentals. Most have multiple bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and all have a kitchen and living area. Great way to get to know local food.
