The Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle bores into the crowns of coconut and fan palms, leaving 1.5–2" boreholes and V-shaped cuts in the fronds. It also hits royal, date and foxtail palms, plus crops like sugarcane and pineapple. Where there's no cold season, it can be active all year.

Spotted Wing Drosophila doesn't quit when summer ends. Populations often build late in the season, and fall raspberries, late blueberries, and other soft fruit stay at risk right up to harvest.
Unlike common fruit flies, SWD lays its eggs INSIDE ripening fruit, so by the time you see damage, the crop is already hit.
