A great reminder from NCEM - remember, just because it doesn't happen often (or hasn't yet happened), does NOT mean it WON'T happen or have an impact on you, your family, or your operations.
This is why you MUST plan off of deliberate all-hazards analysis, carefully stacked by Probabilities and Impacts - this is what PCS does and will coach your organization to do culturally moving forward.
🪇 Shake Shake Shake? ❓ Did you feel that? We have had a few small earthquakes in North Carolina over the last few days. No damages, but a good opportunity to remember earthquake safety tips!

✔️ If an earthquake happens, protect yourself right away.
✔️ If you are inside, stay and do not run outside; avoid doorways.
✔️ If you are in bed, turn face down and cover your head and neck with a pillow.
✔️ If you are in a car, pull over and stop. Set your parking brake.
✔️ If you're outside, stay there.
