I woke up yesterday and it was 49 DEGREES!! 🥶

Excuse me??? I just came from 100-degree Arizona sunshine! 🌵☀️

But I did get to spend some much-needed time with friends I used to work with. ❤️

We don't get together nearly enough, and I wanted to see them before heading back to Arizona for the winter.

And sitting there catching up reminded me of something...

Made it back home yesterday after a LONG travel day.

And that two-hour time change?

Heading back to Minnesota for a bit to have another procedure done on my back before coming right back to Arizona for the winter.

And I swear... 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. 🌵☀️

My mind is calmer.

I can relax.
⠀
I can focus on ME.
⠀
And apparently even my joints have decided they prefer Arizona. 😂

But here's the part that really hit me today...

𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦, 𝗜 𝗪𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗𝗡’𝗧 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦.

To spend time in Arizona.

Go back to Minnesota when I need to.

Take care of myself.

And build something around my life instead of trying to fit my life around everything else.
