đ In this weekâs Senior Sunday Episode 30, titled âThe History of the Silent Generation 1928-1945â, we share the history of one of the most pivotal generations in American History, the Silent Generation. The Silent Generation highlights one of Americaâs most horrific economic periods, the Great Depression, and puts America on the international stage as a World Power during World War 2. This generation did not oppose the government and focused on financial stability after witnessing what the depression did to their families. Join us as we explore this generation in Portsmouth, Virginia, at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
