Week 2 of practice is almost here!! We are getting the field maintenance in mow-tion! We like to keep our goals high and our grass low, so the fields are getting a fresh cut and ready for another great week of soccer. We take ECSC soccer seriously, but apparently we take our grass even mower seriously. Fresh fields, fresh week, and plenty of soccer ahead. Let’s get ready for Week 2!

It was a FULL soccer weekend!

We kicked things off with our first weekend of ADP (Advanced Development Program) tryouts, welcoming 80+ talented players to the field.

We wrapped up Saturday with Junior Referee + Referee Training, making sure our refs are ready to hit the ground running for the season! 🟨🟥

Congratulations to Coach Amanda Messenger, ECSC Director of Youth Development, on completing her U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching License!

The U.S. Soccer Grassroots pathway focuses on creating player-centered, age-appropriate environments where young athletes can develop their technical skills, decision-making, confidence, and most importantly, their love of the game.

For ECSC, continued coaching education like this helps us strengthen our curriculum, better support our volunteer coaches, and provide our youngest players with a more consistent and developmentally appropriate soccer experience.

We’re proud to have Coach Amanda continuing to invest in her education and bring that knowledge back to our players and coaches!

Next up: the USSF “D” License!
