Things are heating up on the Ohio I‑80 Turnpike. is in Phase 3 of the Tinker’s Creek bridge reconstruction, where our piling crew has officially wrapped up, setting the stage for the next critical steps.

We’re now prepping the new embankment foundation with Elastizell, a cellular concrete designed to reduce weight on the supporting piles, while delivering strength to support the forthcoming MSE Wall and road embankment.

The biggest challenge? Access. Our crews are working in disturbance limits only 10' wider than the new bridge, proving precision and safety go hand in hand on every step of this project.

recently completed (4) drilled shafts for a bridge abutment on a grade separation project in Central Ohio.

Working in extremely tight conditions, the crew installed 36” diameter shafts with 5’ rock sockets, reaching depths of 120’ with 115’ through overburden. All work was performed adjacent to active rail with zero service interruption, and at clearances as tight as just 3 inches from an existing retaining wall.

This was a job that required careful planning from the start and precision every step of the way. In the end, it was the strength and focus of the field team that made it all come together.
