Bethany & Chris đź–¤ A little moody romance, a touch of elegance, and a celebration straight out of a dream.

After saying “I do” earlier this year in an intimate setting, Bethany and Chris knew they wanted to celebrate their marriage in a way that brought all of their favorite people together. And what a celebration they created!

Set against the backdrop of moody autumn skies and warm fall air, their elevated Halloween reception was nothing short of magical. A venue rich with character, dramatic details, and the most thoughtfully curated costumes made for a day that was equal parts sophisticated, whimsical, and undeniably them.

Every detail told a story. Every moment carried its own kind of magic. And the atmosphere? Absolutely unforgettable.

Bethany and Chris, your celebration was a beautiful reminder that a wedding doesn't have to follow tradition to be timeless. This day was bold, romantic, and full of personality — and capturing it was an absolute dream.

Hannah 🤍 She is absolutely stunning, but when she’s pregnant? She takes stunning to a whole new level!

Hannah has trusted me with so many precious milestones over the years, from her wedding day to her first maternity session, family portraits, and now, baby number TWO on the way! To say I’m grateful to be the one capturing these seasons of her life is an understatement. Somewhere along the way, she’s become more than just a dear client; she feels like a familiar friend, and that makes getting to document these moments all the more special.

This maternity and family session (with the rest of the family portraits coming soon!) was an absolute DREAM. Just like her first maternity session, we were blessed with the most beautiful light and gorgeous weather. There’s something so special about getting to photograph a growing family and watching their story unfold in front of my camera. 🥹

Elena’s Baptism — Part 2 🤍

I’m so excited to share more photos from this beautiful and sacred day as Elena was dedicated to the Lord.

Baptism is rich in spiritual tradition and serves as a beautiful reminder of our covenant with the Lord. There is something so powerful about witnessing a little one being surrounded by family, faith, and the traditions that point our hearts back to Him.

Even the architecture of the Orthodox church itself is breathtaking—a stunning reminder of the majesty and glory of God. From the walls to the ceilings, the Biblical stories depicted throughout the church point us to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the story of His love and redemption.

My prayer for Elena is that she would grow to know the Lord, follow Him, believe in Him, and trust Him all the days of her life. 🤍

Last Sunday, sweet Elena was baptized in the Serbian Orthodox Church, surrounded by her closest family on the most beautiful fall day. 🍂🤍

Before this sacred event, we had ourselves a little mini family portrait session, capturing some of the sweetest and tender moments. There’s just something so special about documenting a family together, especially during such a meaningful milestone.

And let’s be honest… photographing littles can definitely be tricky! That’s when you keep that shutter going strong and let the magic unfold. Some of my favorite images are often the ones that happen in between the posed moments—the little smiles, snuggles, and giggles.

It was such a beautiful day celebrating sweet Elena. 🤍

Alyssa & Brett 🤍

There are wedding days that are beautiful, and then there are wedding days that feel almost suspended in time.

Alyssa and Brett’s was one of those days.

The soft glow of the autumn sun, the warmth of the fall air, the laughter that seemed to fill every corner — it all felt effortlessly beautiful. But beyond the setting and the details, what made their day so unforgettable was the love between these two.

Time and time again, we caught Brett looking at Alyssa.

Not posing. Not performing.

Just looking at his bride with that unmistakable smile of someone completely in love.

And those moments became some of my favorite photographs from their entire day.

Alyssa spent her wedding day exactly as it should be spent — fully present, completely joyful, and surrounded by the people she loves. At one point, in the middle of the reception, she made her way across the dance floor, wrapped me in a hug, and told me how much fun she was having and how glad she was that she chose me to capture it all.

Those are the moments I never take for granted.

There are so many talented photographers in this world, and being trusted with something as sacred as a wedding day is a privilege I hold very close to my heart.

And then came the speeches — words filled with Jesus, friendship, devotion, and the true meaning of marriage. The kind of words that remind you that a beautiful wedding is only the beginning of something much greater.

Alyssa and Brett weren’t simply celebrating a wedding.

They were celebrating a covenant, a friendship, a faith, and a lifetime they get to build together.

And surrounded by family and friends who were just as genuine and wonderful as they are, their joy was contagious.

Baseball may have brought these two together…

but watching them begin this next chapter together?

That was a home run. ⚾️🤍

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Lauren since she was just a little girl, so getting to watch her grow into the stunning young woman she is today has been really neat. And now, she’s stepping into an exciting new chapter with dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon. Hello, beauty meets brains! 🧠✨

Beauty meets class, grace meets intelligence, and a little bit of humor makes her even more unforgettable. Madelyn is graceful, kind, funny, and was an absolute joy to work with. She has that effortless presence that makes photographing her so easy—and every image feels like a reflection of who she is.

She wanted a mix of dramatic architecture to match her love for interior design, and of course a natural setting to capture golden hour and the beauty of the outdoors. I think we nailed BOTH!

And can we talk about the cowgirl boots?! 🤠🤎 She wore them for one of her outfits, and if you know me, you know I am a sucker for a cute pair of cowgirl boots!

Braxton reached out to me to help plan and capture this surprise proposal, and it could not have been more perfect. 🤍 Destiny was completely surprised, and getting to witness this moment between them was something I will never forget.

They are truly such a beautiful couple, inside and out, and some of the kindest people I’ve had the privilege of meeting. The number of times they thanked me for capturing this special moment is something I couldn’t even count. You could genuinely *feel* the tender love they have for one another.

I’ll be honest—I could not hold back the tears during the proposal and in the moments afterward. 🥹 There was just something so incredibly special about witnessing their love and hearing a little of their story. From the moment I met them, I could tell there was something truly beautiful about these two.

What an absolute honor it was to capture such a meaningful moment in their story. Braxton & Destiny, I am so grateful you trusted me with this memory. 🤍✨
