TO OUR VALULED SERV CUSTOMER:

Today is a day of season of changes.

God has a plan for SERV for the Local food box program. Our staff has prayed and come to a decision to listen to what God has in store during this time of evaluation. Effective October 1st our Monthly Food Box menus and boxes will not be available to purchase. Reimplementing with a new Plan Spring of 2020. Please visit our website and watch for SERV Newsletters for future updates.

We want to thank you for your continued support to purchase our food boxes on a monthly basis. If you have subscribed to our monthly subscription food box program you will need to cancel the subscription or call our office to assist you. You may also consider taking your monthly amount and donate back to our food program and or sign up for our Meal A Month movement. The Meal A Month Movement is where you and your family commit to fasting a meal once a month. These funds are used to provide food locally and globally as a platform to share Christ to those in spiritual and physical need. This is a time to fast and pray as a family and talk about the blessing of how God provides for our lives when others may not have.

Today is the last day to donate a box of fresh food to a family in need this month! Because of your generosity, we are able to place these boxes in the neediest of homes and it gives us an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with people who desperately need Him to show up!

We hit the streets of our community this Saturday to bring fresh food and the Gospel to families in need! You may not have time to go out and serve with us, but you can still make an impact in the lives of families by donating a box of food and then we'll get it to the table in one of these homes for you!

There are many people within our city who are hungry, we know this because we've not only heard about it...but we've seen it with our own eyes. We have an opportunity next Saturday to show up on the doorstep of some of these people with fresh food and the Gospel.

So we're issuing a CHALLENGE to all of our followers. If you donate a food box by Monday you will receive a piece of SERV swag, and the person that donates the most boxes will receive a hand woven basket from Turkana Africa!

We can't do this without you, let's show our community that there is hope and they are not forgotten.

We had an INCREDIBLE food pack out and distribution day on Saturday! Checkout a quick testimony from our friend Marget who came out to serv with us:

"I, like I'm sure most people, thought this was just going to be a way to help others by packing some food boxes. I can not tell you how WRONG I was. To say that my life was not impacted by today and this event, is an understatement. This experience has left an imprint on my heart that will last forever.

As we began to deliver the food to the families, I began to understand how one small box of food could leave a seed of hope in a person/family. Yet, this was not even the beginning of the power of God, it really wasn't even the tip of what God had in store for me today.

Upon serving the second family, I was so impacted by their life, that God changed my life through them. Many tears were left on their front porch, as we prayed over that family. Hands were held, hugs were given, and the POWER of GOD was all around.

Sometimes, it is not about what you can do for others, it really is about how God can use them to change you.
