I love getting phone calls from students I teach CPR to who had to use the skills they learned in real life and were able to act quickly and efficiently to take action!!!

A student who took my class a couple months ago - his first time taking a CPR class - called me to tell me that this week, while working out at the gym, a person nearby suddenly collapsed. Carlos recognized the emergency, started CPR right away, and by the time the ambulance arrived, the person was conscious and breathing again, thanks to the quick actions of Carlos!

Moments like this are why we teach CPR. You never know when the skills you learn could make the difference between life and death.

I’m incredibly proud of this student for staying calm, stepping up, and taking action when it mattered most. This is a powerful reminder that anyone can be a lifesaver with the right training.
