I’m really craving a change of scenery these days. Lately we’ve been talking about booking a cabin somewhere far away from light pollution so I can try to photograph the Milky Way. I’ve actually wanted to do this since I got my first camera but there’s a lot that goes into it like time of the year, weather, moon phase, exposure length and stacking, and lens choice. Whether or not a bottle of red wine is necessary to get the shot is still tbd but I’ll keep you updated 😉

I was so lucky to meet this little boy a few weeks ago. Meeting Ashleigh as a freshman in college, shooting her wedding, and now watching as she entered into motherhood has been sweetest joy. I probably say this way too often but wow, time flies. She’s already such an amazing momma. is wearing a dress from my client closet 👏🏼 More on that coming soon!

My beautiful boy is 14 today! If you know me, you know I love this boy more than anything. 14 years of ups and downs, laughter and tears, and some of the best moments of my life. He’s been my shadow through it all. He got toys this morning and homemade treats. Don’t tell him but he’s also getting cake and ice cream tonight 🙊 I love my handsome pot!

Would you believe a hurricane was looming in the near distance when this photo was taken? Like people were evacuating Savannah! Taylor didn’t let her ruin her day at all. Everything was pushed up and I think we ended the day around 8pm but it was a reception for the books.

Y’all! The days are just flying by! It’s usually Thursday by the time I realize I haven’t posted all week! I’ve got a busy weekend ahead but will have some quiet down time to work on a bunch of projects 😊️

I still can’t get over Jay’s cuteness and how good he was during this shoot. Excited to work with more sweet and squishy babies!

Want to hear a funny story? The dress I was wearing in this photo is extremely stretchy and as I was walking out to take a few family portraits my foot got wrapped up in my dress and I took a not so graceful fall. Don’t worry the cameras were fine. My pride however, seriously injured. I have not worn that dress since. 😂 Happy Friday friends!

As I get older, my priorities and tastes have changed. I’ve come to realize that years from now you’ll realize how important those albums are. When the toes aren’t so tiny anymore and your babies are too big to carry. Our photos only become more valuable as time passes. In 20 years how do you imagine your babies looking at photos of their family? Is it on Instagram or is it in luxury albums and framed prints on your walls that will one day become theirs?

Lots and lots of work going on behind the scenes these days creating an elevated photography experience that ends in beautiful heirloom pieces in your hands and homes. I’m waiting for a few items to arrive then I’ll be making some exciting announcements 🙊
