Need to replace a broken window? Waiting for a new insulated glass unit to be manufactured? Don't leave an open window unprotected - here are some tips to temporarily seal the opening

🚪 Board up the window opening using plywood or OSB and seal any gaps with insulation or tape. This seals the opening completely.

🚪 Install a piece of plywood or rigid plastic directly into the window sash to cover the broken glass. Less costly than boarding the whole opening.

🚪 Place a removable window screen into a large trash bag with the opening facing down. This can act as a plastic barrier over the opening.

🚪 Use tape and plastic sheeting, such as a plastic tablecloth, secured over the broken window to keep out drafts and moisture.

🚪 Consider covering the inside of the window with clear plastic to allow light in while keeping the elements out.

We are doing some winter cleaning at the shop and we are looking to clear up some of our window screen inventory. There are assorted sizes, colors, and styles. These screens were customer size mistakes, no show on order pickup, and general overstock. So some are brand new! They are all being sold as is, but we can make any repairs necessary upon request. Most screen are $10 or less!
