CCS has gotten to a point where we have reached the pinnacle of talented people and created and assembled the perfect team. The time was right to change and improve the organization and make the best plans possible for a very successful future.
CCS has booked more business in the last 12 month than in the previous 3 years and we have a backlog of more than 2 years.

This following officers will be the perfect leadership team to tackle all these upcoming situations:

* Alex Werkeiser will lead the company as President/CEO
* Joe Laner, COO, will assure the best performance in Design, Project Management, and Product Quality for CCS.
* Al Roy will act as VP for Production and assure to produce the best product quality at the most efficient performance.
* Greg Costa will manage Procurement and Material Control as VP Material Control and Inventory.

Congratulations to all of you and we are looking forward to a great future.

I am extremely exited about this team and I know we will continue this growth rate and develop into the most desirable company to work for. Our customers will also see a tremendous value in working with CCS , get the best possible products at competitive rates, and deliveries that meet their project schedules.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Glenn Miller, former Vice President and one of the founders of Custom Control Solutions, on July 9, 2026.

On September 4, 2004, Glenn and Manfred Laner founded CCS with a vision, determination, and a single employee. Through their leadership, that vision grew into the company we know today, with nearly 50 dedicated employees.

Glenn served as our Production Manager until his retirement in 2022. During his career, he helped shape not only our company but also the people who worked alongside him. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and the unmistakable red pen he was never without.

Glenn earned the respect of customers, vendors, and coworkers alike. To many of us, he was far more than a manager—he was a leader, mentor, counselor, and friend. Some even considered him a father figure. He had a remarkable gift for knowing just the right thing to say, whether encouraging a team, resolving a difficult situation, or helping someone navigate a challenge.

Beyond his leadership, Glenn was an exceptional technician. His knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to solve even the most complex problems made him a trusted resource for customers and colleagues alike. If there was an answer to be found, Glenn was usually the one who found it.

When Glenn retired in 2022, we celebrated not only his many accomplishments but also the opportunity for him to enjoy the next chapter of life. We are grateful he was able to spend the past four years creating cherished memories with his beloved wife, Kathy, his children, Melissa and Kenneth, his grandchildren, great-grandchild, and his many extended family members and friends.

Glenn's legacy lives on in the company he helped build, the people he mentored, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Kathy, their family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing Glenn.

CCS DID IT AGAIN. A great Pastalaya feast on FAT TUESDAY served by Mike Moity (the man with a Cajon soul and taste). We celebrated:
* Mardi Gras
* long terms employees and NEW hires
* Successful shipment of several projects
* Passed OSHA inspection with flying colors

This year’s Christmas party was definitely one of the best. It was not because of the location, the food, the decorations, etc., because it was always great. It was all of our employees that made the party a huge success.
