Another Double 44 Parallel up and running! 🐄🥛
We recently completed the installation of a Double 44 Parallel parlor equipped with the Merck Animal Health’s SenseHub® Dairy platform.
This system goes far beyond simply milking cows.
At each milking point, the system provides individual cow identification and milk production data, allowing the dairy to track how each cow is performing every time she comes through the parlor. Accurate individual milk weights give management another tool to identify production changes, evaluate response to treatments and make better decisions on breeding, dry-off and culling.
Putting the parlor and cow monitoring information together gives the dairy a much clearer picture of what is happening:
Instead of relying solely on visual observation, the dairy has real-time information from the cow and the milking parlor to help make day-to-day management decisions.
