On this day 20 years ago, we started Defense Litigation Group, Inc. I would like to thank God, my family, my friends, current and former staff, and clients. Without all of you, this would have never been possible. Normally, I do not post, but today is different.

Everyone says time flies when you are having fun. I’d like to add ‘it’s not work if you like what you do’. For me, there is the bonus of ownership. I hear people say how great it must be to own the business. It is, but it is not easy. In addition to the obvious, hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, it takes faith. With a strong faith in God and yourself, people will have faith in you.

Over the years, there were times when I did not think DLG (or me) was going to survive. I continued to work hard and follow God’s plan. This career was not what I envisioned but I could not be happier with my life.

Take the time to enjoy where you are, what you have, and who you are with. This is not meant to be a religious post, but instead a celebration of 20 years. God remains that reason. Thank you for 20 years!
