UPDATE :: I’m filled with gratitude and hope as I share this update from yesterday’s surgeons appointment. We don’t have a date for surgery yet, but it will be before Thanksgiving. The Doctor stated that from what he sees on the PET Scan, the Nodule is the size of a golf ball, and it’s definitely Cancer. However, he’s confident in his approach and explained how he will perform the surgery. He will make an incision from the side, around the rib cage, and insert a camera to examine the lung. If all he sees is the nodule, he will make another incision to remove it and take out 1/3 of the lung where the nodule is. Thankfully, the surgery will be completed, and then Steve will go through chemotherapy. Steve and I are incredibly blessed to have such a skilled and compassionate Surgeon. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and alleviate our concerns. I expressed my faith in him, and we trust him completely. The Doctor humbly acknowledged that he’s not God, and I reassured him that with faith, God will see us through. God Bless You, Dr. D✝️
