🌿 Day 18 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today’s challenge: Delete 50 photos from your phone!

Before you panic, we’re not deleting memories—we’re deleting the clutter. It may seem like a lot, but once you get started, you will be surprised how quickly you find images you don’t need.

Take 5–10 minutes and look for:
✔️ Blurry photos
✔️ Accidental screenshots
✔️ Duplicate pictures
✔️ Pictures taken to remember a product or price
✔️ Random images you’ve already shared or saved elsewhere

Most of us have hundreds (or thousands!) of photos taking up space on our phones. Deleting just 50 today can make your photo library easier to navigate and help you find the pictures that really matter.

Bonus challenge: Empty your “Recently Deleted” folder when you’re done.

đź’¬ Comment when done!

Small steps, big changes.

One of my favorite things to organize because it’s so black and white. No lid, cracked or terribly stained? Then it gets recycled or it serves a new purpose. You can use lidless food containers as drawer dividers, saucers for plants, water bowls for your dogs when traveling, or a way to group similar pantry items. What’s your favorite “serves a new purpose” tip?

🌿 Day 17 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today’s challenge: plastic food containers!

Today we’re tackling the famous “lid-less, stained, mystery-stacking” plastic food container collection in almost every kitchen.

Take 5–10 minutes and pull them all out of one cabinet or drawer.

Sort quickly:
✔️ Keep containers that have matching lids.
✔️ Toss anything stained, warped, or cracked.
✔️ Recycle containers that no longer seal properly.
✔️ Let go of the “lid with no container”. It’s time!

Match lids and containers before placing sets back.

đź’¬ How many unmatched containers did you have?

Small steps, real change.

🌿 Day 16 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today’s challenge: Sunscreen and bug spray

Summer is about to be in full swing, which means hot sunny days and plenty of mosquitoes! Before you stock up for the season, take 5 minutes to check your sunscreen and bug spray stash.

As you sort, check for:
✔️ Expired products
✔️ Nearly empty bottles
✔️ Leaking or damaged containers
✔️ Products that have changed color, smell, or texture

Most sunscreen is designed to remain effective for about 3 years, but heat and improper storage can shorten its lifespan. If a bottle has spent multiple summers in a hot car, camper, or garage, it may be time to replace it.

Toss what’s no longer usable and gather what’s left in one easy-to-find spot so you’re ready for summer!

💛 No catching up needed if you’ve missed a day—just jump in with today.

🌿 Day 14 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today’s quick reset: kitchen towels

Pull out:
• Dish towels
• Pot holders/oven mitts

Keep the ones you use most and let go of anything stained, worn out, or ones you never use for one reason or another.

💡Firefly tip: I moved my holiday-themed towels out of my everyday kitchen towel stash and stored them with my holiday décor instead—Christmas towels with Christmas decorations, fall towels with fall décor, etc. It freed up space and makes seasonal decorating easier too.

💛 No catching up needed if you’ve missed a day—just jump in with today.

🌿 Day 13 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today we are going after some digital clutter with phone contacts.

Take 5–10 minutes and tidy up your contacts list:
✔️ Delete duplicate contacts
✔️ Remove numbers you no longer need
✔️ Update mystery contacts

It’s one of those small tasks that feels really good when it’s done—and you can do it while waiting in line or sitting on the couch.

Helpful tip: if you struggle to remember who people are, add a little clue in the contact name like “Beth - Mike’s mom” or “Beth Cupcake Maker.” Future you will appreciate it!

💬 Comment “DONE” when you finish or tell us the weirdest contact in your list!

Small steps, real change.

Take 5–10 minutes to check your games:
✔️ Pull them into one spot
✔️ Set aside games with missing pieces
✔️ Donate the ones nobody plays anymore
✔️ Keep the favorites your family actually enjoys
✔️ Stack and organize what’s staying so it’s easy to grab

We often keep games because we might play them—but making room for favorites means they actually get used. challenge is board games!

🌿 Day 11 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today’s challenge is throw blankets!

These tend to multiply and in my house my son is basically Linus and likes a blanket on every couch.

Take 5–10 minutes and gather your throw blankets:
✔️ Keep the favorites you actually use
✔️ Donate extras that are in good shape
✔️ Fold and store the keepers so they’re easy to grab

💬 Comment “DONE” when you finish! I’ll be over here fighting my son about not needing a blanket for every coach and chair!

Small steps, real change.

🌿 Day 10 of The 30-Day Reset Challenge 🌿

Today we’re tackling nail polish.

This is one of those tiny categories that can quietly get out of hand—because it’s small, it doesn’t feel urgent… until you realize you have bottles you haven’t opened in years.

Today’s challenge:
Gather your nail polish and do a quick sort.

Ask yourself:
âś” Is it dried up, separated, or just plain icky?
âś” Would I actually wear this color today?

Keep the ones you love and use.
Let go of the old, dried-out, or “never going to wear this” colors.

💬 Comment “DONE” when you finish!

Small steps, real change.
