Homeschool seems to be gaining popularity in a lot of new households. This will be the 3rd year we are doing homeschool and we couldn't be happier with the results. We are able to be closer as a family while still acquiring a wide range of learning opportunities.

Had a beautiful time on our field trip the apple orchard last week. So many learning opportunities and so grateful we get to be out side in the gorgeous weather. Also we're able to take our school pictures!

Diving into deep space today. No matter what age groups we have. We are able to adjust the lesson to everyone capabilites.

Each day our homeschool has a student chef who helps Mima in the kitchen prep, cook and serve lunch! This kids absolutely love being involved in the lunch process. It helps them learn life skills. Added bonus every time the children are involved with lunch, it all gets eaten!!

I know we have not made any post since last school year, however last year was a learning curve for everyone, and I mean everyone! We have learned a lot about homeschool in this short amount of time and we came into this school year with vigor and enthusiasm. Our students were so excited for the upcoming year and the brand new curriculum from "The Good and the Beautiful"!

Hello! I'm Bernadette or as my students call me Aunt B. I have worked with young children most of my adult life professionally and personally. I am the youngest of 5 siblings and have 10 niece's and nephews. So I was always designated babysitter.

Over the years I discovered I had a skill working with children and that skill turned into passion. I worked in the public school as a teacher's aide and a field hockey coach. I've worked with special education, children with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Currently I am going to school for my ABA(applied behavior analysis) certification which helps me get more insight into the behavior of a child. This schooling gives me a more patient approach when dealing with children's emotions.

I love what I do and I am beyond grateful that I was able to put my passion into action with my own homeschool. We realized we were becoming more and more out of touch in our childrens lives and their education. This adventure helps us take back our ability to be active participants in our children's education. If you'd like to show your support comment below.
